NOVEMBER 2006

I chose the paper ballot. I believe we should all ask for paper, please.

I wouldn't sign a contract on a touch screen, or marriage license, or any other binding or sacramental contract.

I want paper, fancy paper, with each hand marked ballot slowly, hand counted. It is a solemn pledge, a token and a symbol of our freedom to choose our own future.

This is one time we should not scrimp, or worry too much about the forest needed to create the paper for those ballots. We should not hurry. We should be slow, and deliberate. We need to know that each and every vote is counted.
