MARCH 2006

I just finished making my new shopping bags. This is one of my favorite projects.

I have a quantity of bags which are too large. First, I cut down the large bag to the size I want, then I mix ink and make a silk screen print on each bag.

I put these all over the floor of the shop to dry. After the ink dries, I cut rag bag handles, and glue them in with some of my favorite papers.

This time I used the left over pages from the discarded romance novel that I cut my swan valentines from.

When all the bags were finished, I counted and numbered them. Then I stacked them under my counter, ready for my next customers.
